Expanding my horizons

It has been awhile since I checked in here - I have been busy expanding my empire! :)

July has been my best month to-date, which is pretty exciting. 

I have shifted directions slightly.  I have started a new project that is both offline and online.  Still getting everything figured out, but stay tuned I will be sharing more later.

Exciting stuff, and it will not be easily wiped out by the ever changing search engines.

Car Payment Mini-goal

I find that I have to set "mini-goals" for myself to keep myself going.  I have done basically nothing that grows my business for the past 30 to 45 days.

The kids are heading off with Grandpa and Grandma for a week of camping starting tonight.  This will give me a bunch of time to really work hard.  My goal - generate landing pages and Adwords campaigns that will generate at least $550/month in affiliate commissions - hopefully by the end of July.

I know the affiliate programs I will use, so that decision is made.  I will subscribe to a couple days of Wordtracker for keyword generation.  The affiliate program I will be using has a line of products with great payouts.  I am currently selling one of their products via Adwords, and turning a 80-100% ROI.  I figure if I set-up 5 to 6 of their products I should make my goal of making my car payment within 30 days.

I will be creating landing pages for each of the products.  The merchant advertises in Adwords, plus there are several other affiliates advertising as well.  So to get any traffic I must use landing pages.

I will keep you posted as I move forward - heck I might even record everything I do and make a mini-course while I work.  Instant product!
