Can you make money in Network Marketing?

The short answer is YES!  I am making money, and have made checks the last two weeks in a row.  Just like any business you can make money in network marketing, you just have to do something - take action and you will be rewarded!

Just like with internet marketing, mlm or network marketing requires action.  Ihave seen so many people since I have started this blog, that really want a second stream of income, but never really apply themselves to make it happen.

The power of the network marketing model is that you are building a team, and are earning recurring commissions on consumable products - which is key to your success.

The biggest difference I see between internet marketing and network marketing is the learning curve is much shorter with network marketing than it is with IM.  I have seen new associates go out and build a team of 10 people in a very short time, like two to four weeks - which adds up to some nice monthly residual income.  But the key idea here is that they take action and it happens!

I plan to write more articles on what to look for if you are interested in heading  in this direction with your business, and just what it takes to be successful in this industry.  Since this blog is really a diary of my quest for multiple streams of income this business is simply another chapter of my story.

Burke,
I think the key thing many people who enter entrepreneurship don't realize, even bootstrappers, is the need to be proactive. You wouldn't go to a job working for someone else and sit around all day doing nothing, so why do people expect that if they start a business they can just sit around waiting for the money to roll in?
